With your Steam account: start the game from Steam and you are signed in. There is no separate account or password for the game. We may add other ways to sign in later.

On our server, tied to your account. There is nothing to back up: start the game on another computer (Windows or Mac) with the same account and your town is there.

The game tries to reconnect by itself. Your town is kept on our server, and what was confirmed by the server is safe. If it does not come back, check your internet connection and restart the game. If it keeps happening, write to us and tell us roughly when it happened.

No, the game needs an internet connection: your town lives on our server and shares a valley with your neighbours. While you are away, your town keeps working.

Wait a moment and restart the game. If it is still missing, write to us with the date of the purchase and what you bought (Steam lists it in your purchase history), and we will put it right. Refunds follow the rules of the store you bought through; for Steam, that is Steam’s refund policy.

Write to us with the subject “Delete my data”. We delete your account and your town within 30 days. The steps, and the few things kept for longer, are in the privacy policy.
