Life on the frontier

Build a town worth the name

  • Place gold mines, lumber mills, quarries, mana springs, a tavern, training grounds and a blacksmith wherever you like on your land.
  • Grow your Town Hall into a keep, a castle and one day a crown citadel, and buy new land as the town spreads.

Heroes from every corner of the world

  • 32 heroes from 17 peoples: humans, orcs, elves and dwarves, but also goblins, gnomes, undead, naga, minotaurs, centaurs, dryads, ogres, trolls, wolfkin, bearkin, dragonkin and panda-folk.
  • Fights are heroes against monsters, plus friendly drills against other lords' heroes: no troops to train or replace. Battles play out by themselves, right on the map outside your gates.

Into the wilds, and beyond the wall

  • Clear goblin camps, wolf dens, spider nests, troll lairs and ogre strongholds in the woods around your town.
  • Beyond the Greywall: a 40-stage campaign in four acts, with bosses, three-star ratings, elite stages and new heroes to win.

Love thy neighbour

  • Your town shares the valley with nine others. Your neighbours are other players, and friendly computer lords keep any empty houses warm.
  • Send heroes to stand guard at a friend's gate. When raiders cross the border, the whole valley holds the line together.

A gentle kind of war

  • Losing stings, but never ruins you: a bad raid costs some supplies and a few repairs, and your neighbours come to help.
  • Made for a little time every day. Your town keeps working while you are away.

Free to play

  • The whole game can be played for free. Optional purchases offer gems, passes and decorations. The tavern's premium refresh is a paid random draw: its full odds and pity, like those of every random draw, are shown in the game.
